Bridget Rooks, Project Manager

Professional History

Ms. Rooks joined PM Unlimited as a Project Manager in February, 2015. Ms. Rooks has since managed over sixty million dollars in renovations and takes pride in her strength adhering to owner’s schedules and budgets.

Since joining PM Unlimited, Ms. Rooks has overseen renovations of over twenty-five Marriott, Hilton, and Sonesta properties. Her clients have included HIT Portfolio, Sonesta, Fulcrum Hospitality, PIMCO, and Hospitality Properties Trust. She is currently overseeing a seventeen million dollar hotel conversion of an apartment building in a historic district.

Ms. Rooks began her career in hospitality at Benjamin West. As Project Director/Team Leader there, she oversaw a purchasing team and specialized in custom full service projects for flags such as Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham and Loews. Additionally, Ms. Rooks helped develop a network of strategic suppliers and negotiated program pricing for a select service hotel brand introduced to the industry in 2014. She carries with her from this purchasing experience a keen eye for cost saving opportunities, strong negotiation skills, and problem solving strategies essential to challenging renovations.

Ms. Rooks graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University’s Hutton Honors’ College Individualized Major Program. At Indiana University, Ms. Rooks’ major was built to focus on multi-disciplinary writing, providing excellent communication skills that have been a critical component to her success in the hospitality industry.

Ms. Rooks brings to PM Unlimited her strong FF&E background as well as the skills she has honed in budgeting, cash flows, scheduling, conflict resolution, and team building; important qualities in any project manager. Ms. Rooks is based out of Chicago, the greatest city in the world if you come at the right time of year. She loves traveling, the Bulls and Cubs, theater, playing music, reading, and having adventures with her husband and daughter.
